Superflex - SC
Superflex suction hose is a PVC material. In 1.5” size the hose is gray in color and the 2.0” size is clear. It has slight corrugations on the inside and is recommended for light-duty applications such as liquid pickup and non-abrasive powders. Superflex is our most flexible hose, yet it still has an internal ground wire for static conductivity and grounded end cuffs (where indicated).

Abr-Flex-SC
Abr-Flex SC is a highly-flexible smooth-bore hose designed for abrasive materials. Abr-Flex has a multi-strand internal static ground wire, which is less likely to break compared to single strand wire. Abr-Flex is lighter in weight than our Vinyloy SC and provides excellent user-friendliness even in non-abrasive applications. Its urethane core has an excellent chemical resistance and maintains flexibility, even in low temperatures. Excellent for metal chips and powders, sand, cement, brick, glass cullet, shot-blast media, aluminum oxide, ceramics, and slag.

Neoprene - SC
Heavy-duty vacuum hose for handling abrasive materials like sand, metal chips and turnings, aggregate, or metal powders. Neoprene is a molded hose and is not available in a “per-foot” price. It has integral hose cuffs molded into the ends of each piece and cannot be cut since the molded layers or rubber will delaminate. Neoprene hose has a smooth-bore lining but is not as flexible as other types. Our Neoprene has a static conductive core and cover as well as an internal ground wire. It’s recommended when our Abr-Flex is not suitable due to chemical resistance or when high static conductivity is required for explosive materials.

Buna-N - SC
Buna-N material is resistant to fuel products such as gasoline and JP-4 and JP-5 jet fuels. Use only with static conductive and anti-sparking vacuum designs such as our MDL 55 air vacuum for flammable liquids (catalog no. 23954). It is a molded hose with integral hose cuffs and is only available in size indicated. Ground clips are molded into the hose cuffs.

Vinyloy - SC
The Vinyloy-SC hose is a clear PVC material with a smooth bore (no internal corrugation) and is constructed of USDA/FDA-approved PVC ingredients. This class of Vinyloy is static conductive by means of an internal ground wire and where indicated it has glued-on hose cuffs with ground straps. This is an excellent general purpose hose for powders, liquids, sludge, slurries, resins, and other materials with low-to-moderate abrasive characteristics. It also offers good flexibility and allows visual confirmation that material is flowing.
